MCC Toronto supports 2SLGBTQIA+ refugees, refugee claimants, newcomers, and people seeking safety because of persecution related to sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or sex characteristics.

You do not need to be Christian, religious, or part of MCC Toronto’s congregation to seek support, participate, donate, volunteer, or get involved.

Who these services are for

MCC Toronto’s 2SLGBTQIA+ Refugee Services are for queer and trans people seeking support related to their sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or sex characteristics.

This includes people who are:

  • Two-Spirit
  • lesbian
  • gay
  • bisexual
  • transgender
  • queer or questioning
  • intersex
  • asexual
  • other sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions
