2SLGBTQIA+ Refugee Services
Our refugee services are for people who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+: Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (or Questioning), Intersex, Asexual, plus (other sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions).
If you are not 2SLGBTQIA+, please click here for general newcomer resources.
As of April 13, 2026, MCC Toronto no longer provide general letters of support or participation.
Our online information sessions will also be coming to an end. April 2026 will be the final month of sessions, with the last online session taking place on May 29, 2026.
These changes reflect not a withdrawal of care, but a commitment to being more precise, more transparent, and more responsible in providing support that fits our role and capacity.
Thank you for your trust and understanding as we make these changes.
If you have any questions, or any needs around your gender identity or sexual orientation, please do not hesitate to email our Director of 2SLGBTQIA+ Refugee Services or visit the Newcomers Lounge on Sundays at 11 AM.
