September 16 – Alison J. Palmer

Alison has been a proud member of The Choir of MCC Toronto (second soprano) for over four years now and is honored to be singing today. She took a hiatus from our choir to work at the Neptune Theatre (Halifax) this past spring/summer. Alison won critical acclaim playing Tanya in their hit production of Mamma Mia!  Alison is an actor/singer/dancer, an occasional high school teacher with TDSB, proud mom of Grant and Clark, and the grateful wife of best friend/partner, Alan. You may have seen Alison on TV (The Expanse, Designated Survivor, Imposters, Mayday), in the film Downsizing, or on theatre stages from Vancouver to Halifax. “Thank you to all who attend the 9 a.m. Sunday Services – it is a vital part of my week – I am in awe of (and ever-grateful for) the positivity, humanity, and inspiration. It’s as if this song was written for you!” To her choir family: “I am forever grateful for the light you shine in my life; it’s rays extend beyond me to my family, friends and community. I am honored to be singing today with the ever-inspiring, gracious talents of Diane Leah, INSERT HARMONY DUET VOCALIST NAME HERE, and the choir.”
