June 23, 2020 – Digital Programming Update

As the Province of Ontario and the City of Toronto enters Phase 2 of re-opening (as of June 24, 2020), we are also updating our digital programming and church Services.

We had initially anticipated an early July return for in-person service, however, we have decided to delay our in-person Worship Service at least until July 19, 2020.

Safety is of utmost importance to us and we want to ensure our transition back is safe for all and that no one feels excluded.

We are working on returning to in-person worship again on Sunday, July 19, 2020, which also coincides with Anniversary Sunday. Please stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.

Weekly Worship Service

Worship Service:

We will continue to live-broadcast our 11 a.m. Worship Service, which can be viewed on our Facebook and YouTube pages.

You can participate in Communion with your own bread or crackers, and juice or water at home.

You can donate online or sign up for our sustained giver program here.

Sunday Noon Coffee Hour:

Join us after Worship at noon for our coffee hour to connect with your MCC Toronto family on ZOOM.

Digital Programming

With summer in full swing, we have made some adjustments to our weekly digital program.

Bible Study:

Commencing on July 7, 2020, at 7 p.m. with the theme “Give me that olde tyme religion”.

Mid-Week Service:

Commencing on July 1, 2020, we will be hosting a mini Worship Service on Facebook at noon. Mid-Week Service will include Opening Prayer, Scripture Reading, Written Reflection, Prayers of the People.

Sunday Inspiration Service Check-in:

A space dedicated to those who attend our 7 p.m. Inspiration Service, we will continue to provide a smaller group check-in on Sundays at 7 p.m.
