This week, as we prepare for our Welcome Reception that we hold monthly for new people to our church, I rejoice in the volunteers who support this project, by meeting people at the end of each service, following them through to this reception and helping them find a place in our church.  With this approach, we are now well equipped to welcome new people.

Also, as we enter Volunteer Appreciation week I gratefully acknowledge that we as a church were ahead of the world, having held our Volunteer Appreciation party a couple of weeks ago.  Volunteers are the lifeblood of this church, and we have nearly 50 different volunteer roles to offer, each with unique skills! This is a place to learn and grow, and to develop skills you need.  Come, grow with us!
