The ministry that offers this service provides
interpreting services for:
- 11 am church services on a weekly basis,
- Pride Day Service
- Christmas Eve Services (2)
- other special functions as requested & available
People wishing to work in this area need:
- some formal training in American Sign Language
- or, demonstrated ability
- and, demonstrated skills in communicating with deaf
people.
Preferred Skills/Education:
- American Sign Language Interpreter Training Program
- some certification/screening through an accredited
body
For special events:
We welcome deaf people who have an interest in participating in music
