Think Recycle Program

The Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto is partnering with Think Recycle to recycle your unwanted printer cartridges, cell phones and laptops for a good cause.

We are proud to announce that the Metropolitan Community church of Toronto is calling on all our friends to recycle their unwanted printer cartridges, cell phones and laptops to help us raise funds for building repairs and ministry projects.

The Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto is a member of Greentec’s Think Recycle program which collects unwanted electronics and printer cartridges including cell phones, laptops and original HP, Brother, Lexmark, Dell and Cannon printer cartridges which often clutter our offices, drawers, basements and garages. The company then recycles them responsibly in exchange for fundraising dollars for building repairs and ministry projects. Think Recycle processes and recycles the e-waste, diverting it from local and international landfill sites.

E-waste is the fastest growing waste stream worldwide and each year more than 300 million empty printer cartridges are generated in North America.

“Our core fundraising activities are great but the Think Recycle program directly protects the environment” says Ned Yuzefowich, Think Recycle advocate.

You can help by simply dropping off your items at the Information Desk. We recommend that you erase any private information from items prior to dropping them off. However, if you are unable to do this, Think Recycle will ensure that any information left on devices will be erased.

On behalf of the Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto we look forward to your donation. If you would like more information, please contact our Think Recycle Advocate Ned Yuzefowich at [email protected]

Thank you in advance for your support.
