Pride Letter

Wow what a Pride Weekend!

We did it!

The Clergy and Staff Team at MCC Toronto would like to extend our appreciation for all you did to help make Faith and Pride a success.

Booth Volunteers: Thank you for all the hours you gave to making sure MCC Toronto had a presence during the Pride weekend. The selling of the t-shirts, giving out the Community Guides and postcards and answering people’s questions could not have been accomplished without all of you. Walking Church Street and handing out postcards ensured people knew where our Worship Service was being held. People enjoyed lighting the memorial candles. Encouraging children and their families to come into our tent and draw their Pride Family was a wonderful opportunity to meet new families. The team who set up and took down the booth thank you for your hard work.

Pride Service Volunteers: Thank you for welcoming our guests, ushering people to their seats, working with the VIP team, singing in the choir, participating in worship, collecting the offering in the rain, running the tech booth. You were instrumental in our service being a success. Many people told us they enjoyed the new space and are looking forward to many more pride services.

Pride Parade Volunteer: Thank you for carrying the banner, leading the parade, driving the car, carrying the flag and walking the parade route with us. We had so much fun getting to know each other, playing, laughing and enjoying being community together. Can’t wait to do it again next year!

Thank you for being a bridge builder in our community. Thank you for saying yes and letting your light shine. The work we do at MCC Toronto touches so many lives and together we are making a difference.
