This is an opportunity for you to use your skills and talent to make an impact in the church and your community and to deepen your relationship with God and each other through care and compassion.
Community Care is about offering a loving and caring presence to people in need. It is about making a difference in people’s lives.
It will be place for people to find:
- a caring presence;
- a listening ear;
- a shoulder available to individuals who experience challenges; and
- physical, emotional, and spiritual care and prayer.
“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:8-10
